Tenth  National Convention on Students’ Quality Circle (10th NCSQC’14)

Theme:Life skill practices through SQC

This time national convention was organised in different schools in various hubs for a month and  grand closing ceremony was organised at Kathmandu University with various programs between teachers and students.Theme of convention was "Life Skill Practices through SQC". A decade long experience of SQC implementation in the academic institutions in Nepal and abroad has proved that SQC is a strong tool to equip students with self-awareness, empathy , critical thinking, decision making, problem solving, effective communication, interpersonal relationship, coping with stress, coping with emotion, etc which are the lifeskills as defined by UNICEF.

Similarly, QUEST NEPAL organised First National Conference on Quality in Education( 1st NCQED-2014) on 29th and 30th November,2014 which was the historic event in the quality movement of Nepal. Its theme was " Quality as a culture and Impact in Education ".

Convention was convened by Mr. Tejendra Raj Bhandari, President, Quest Nepal. The convention was inaugaurated jointly by Honorable CA member and Prof. Syed Ali and several dignitaries and the Advisors of QUEST Nepal.

Students participated in the SQC case study presentation, Collage, panel discussion and Quality Quiz with great enthusiasm and pleasure.137 different schools across the country participated in the convention.

For the first time in the history of QUEST Nepal, First National Conference on Quality in Education was organised by QUEST Nepal at Kathmandu University in the convenorship of Mr. Ravi Bhattarai, Master Trainer and Secretary, QUEST Nepal  where six papers were presented on different thematic area of the conference as listed below:

1. Implementation and Initiatives impact.

2. Case study and Real Life Example.

3. Extending the learnings and models.

4. Quality Framework and Models.

5. Tools and Technology
