EVOLUTION OF SQC (THE 3RD GENERATION OF QC CIRCLE)
EARLY 1960’S,JAPAN: QCC (1G):
Dr. Edward Deming and Dr. Joseph Juran ignited JUSE and Dr. Kaoru Ishikawa conceptualized and applied the world famous Quality Control Circles (QCC) for quality and productivity improvement in industries.
EARLY 1990S, INDIA SQCC (2G):
Dr. Jagdish Gandhi imported QC Circle methods from Japan to apply among students at schools as Student Quality Control Circle as a part of TQM.
EARLY 2000S, NEPAL: SQC (3G) :
Prof. Dinesh P. Chapagain redefined quality circles for students as Students’ Quality Circles to make them good and smart person with SQC approach, tools and technique
The Students’ Quality Circles is a small group of like minded students working together with a common goal of identifying, analyzing and solving recurring problems they are facing at home and school using SQC approaches, tools and techniques for their personality development.
SQC PRINCIPLES
1. We always solve our problems ourselves for continual improvements.
2. We always act with facts and figures.
3. We always think logically and creatively.
4. We always collaborate in a team with others.
5. We always compete with ourselves for enhancing our knowledge & skills.
6. We always be good at heart to serve others.
7. We always be smart at brain to excel and lead.
